What a wonderful night! We celebrated singing in our auditorium twice this spring. : ) My heartstrings were pulled throughout the concert – witnessing our 9th grade students growing as choral musicians, returning choir members showing their dedication to being leaders and role models for our program, and honoring our awesome group of seniors leaving our choral program, but not our choir family! Beautiful music shared with family – can’t get better than that!
The MTVA Virtual Honor Choir Performance Premiere is tonight at 7:30 p.m.! Click on the link below to enjoy performances from Mid-State SATB, SSAA and TTBB, Freshman Honor Choir, Middle School Honor Choir and Elementary Honor Choir. There is even a countdown clock to the big event. Congratulations to Madison McDonald (SSAA), Dylan Hudson (TTBB), and Natalie Iozia (Freshman). We are proud of you!
Looking forward to seeing everyone in class this week! Please go to your choir page to read about how we will be transitioning to Schoology, the new learning platform for Wilson County Schools. I will give an overview in class this week. Be sure to practice your music! See you soon!
I am thankful for every one of my choir students! They have been singing in small sections with masks since the start of school and even with all the changes in our choral experience, they have shown dedication, resilience, preparation, and a can-do attitude. I am blessed to have such an awesome choir family!!
I hope our Wilson Central Choir students and their families have a Thanksgiving full of love and blessings!
