Week of November 14th

Both Choirs:  Check your preparation and memorization deadlines.  Be sure to spend the necessary time studying your part outside of class.  The end of this week and next Mon/Tue, I would like to hear confident singing on all December concert music.  Remember:  dynamics, vowels, phrasing, rhythm, style and expression of text need to be memorized along with singing your part confidently.  You can do this!

Auditions for featured performances in the December concert will take place this Wednesday and Thursday.  Sign-up sheet is on my office door.  See me if you have any questions.

Monday, November 21st at 4:00 p.m.:  Chamber members will sing Amazing Grace at the memorial garden ceremony.  We’ll sing through it during warm-ups this week.

Note to Parents:  I am putting the finishing touches on the WCHS Choirs Benefit Concert and Gift Basket Silent Auction Letter.  I will be attaching it to an email via Charms.  If you know of a business interested in supporting Wilson Central Choirs by donating a gift basket, items for a gift basket or making a donation, please share the letter with them.   I am happy to approach businesses  – just email me with your suggestions.

I expect to send the email by late Tuesday afternoon.

Need coverage for gift-wrapping fundraiser at Lebanon Premium Outlet Mall.  Information about specific shifts available will be included in the above email or you can check the Charms calendar (click on multi-colored hand to sign up).
