Week of September 19th

Concert on Tuesday!  Be in the choir room, in uniform, ready to sing at 6:30 p.m. sharp. Plan ahead – make sure you have transportation and be on time.  Invite friends, family, teachers and community members.

New Chamber uniforms and Concert Choir polos must be taken home on Monday. Please plan to pick them up at the end of the day.

Chamber Choir and Concert Choir:  We will run through the concert program twice on Monday and Tuesday in the auditorium.  Continue to review your music to assure you are confident.  Remember, practice builds knowledge, knowledge creates relaxation.  You are going to have an outstanding concert if everyone performs EXACTLY as we have rehearsed.  Round your vowels.  Clear diction.  Observe phrasing and dynamics.  Express the text.

Looking forward to the concert!

CHAMBER CHOIR:  I need you at Mt Juliet Chick-Fil-A on Thursday Night for Spirit Night from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.  If you need to arrive late – be sure to be present at 6:30 p.m. to perform a couple songs.  PLEASE be there!  I prefer you wear a WCHS polo or trip shirt, but if you don’t have time to put one on, come anyway.

Concert Choir and Women’s Chorale members are encouraged to bring their friends and families as well!  Wear your WCHS polo or trip shirt.

On Wednesday – Friday, we will read through new music.  Hopefully, we will make some posters on Wednesday or Thursday for Chick-Fil-A Spirit Night on Thursday.  Be sure to share the choir website with friends and family – the Chick-Fil-A Flyer will be posted so they can show it at the time they order.  It would be best if they have a flyer in hand, but make sure they show it on their phone or ask for a flyer.
