Week of April 11th

Tomorrow and Tuesday, both choirs will be singing through all pieces.  Be sure to refer to the previous post about preparation and memorization deadlines.  I will be at All-State Wednesday afternoon through Friday.  Both choirs, practice your part by working as a group, alone or in sectionals while I am away.

Seniors – Friday was the deadline for the senior awards information sheet.  Please get them to me before the end of the day tomorrow (Monday, April 11th).

Women’s Chorale:  If you can’t find practice files for a piece, check the Chamber Choir page.  Your concert performance is fifteen days away.  Do what you need to do to be fully and confidently memorized.   I am looking forward to your concert performance.  Ms. Cathy will be here Tuesday!  NOTE:  We will have a combined choir rehearsal the first half of lunch on April 19th and 21st (Tuesday and Thursday next week).  Please come directly to the choir room first half of lunch.

Chamber Choir:  I expect you to work on your music while I am away.  The Stroope/Ryman pieces need to be fully confident and nearly memorized by the end of the week. On April 18th, all concert pieces need to be fully memorized.  Use your time wisely.  No excuses.  You are on track to have a strong concert performance!  NOTE:  We will have a combined choir rehearsal the first half of lunch on April 19th and 21st (Tuesday and Thursday next week).  Please come directly to the choir room first half of lunch.

Concert Choir:  I’m looking forward to hearing you sing again!  Please help me spread the word about our combined lunch rehearsals during the first half of lunch on Tuesday, April 19th and Thursday, April 21st.
